We're a group of like-minded individuals with a love of being in the air. Whether your a well versed pilot or haven't made a start in the hobby yet, we will be more than happy to bring you on-board! Most of our communication happens through the Facebook group so if you have any questions its best to ask on there.
CMRC Racing Season 2024
We race outdoors at the Weston Creek Archery Club on the 3rd Saturday of each month (weather permitting).

We are a MultiGP Racing Club that encourages anyone to come along and race!
​
We race Open Class drones - meaning we allow pretty much anything to race. Most pilots find success with the standard 5" Racing Drone. Your video transmitter must be able to transmit on Raceband channels and powered no higher than 25mw.

Visitors are always welcome, but please stay behind the safety netting whenever anybody is flying.

Micro Series 2023
The CMRC Micro series events are held once a month at Holy Trinity Primary School, Curtain ACT. Quad specs are ducted frame, 1s battery, 25mw VTX. Even if you don't own a quad, come have a look and see what its all about, and if you're interested we can point you in the right direction on how to get started! Race entry fee is $20 for members and non-members.
MEMBERSHIP
Becoming a member with CMRC means you receive members rates for race entry, which for most races (excluding micro series) is a $10 members entry fee as opposed to $20 for non members. You can be a guest at your first 3 races to try it out before needing to become a CMRC member (if you dont already have an MAAA membership). 2023 Membership costs are as follows ($10 discount on MAAA insurance for members renewing before 31 July):
